Every child has Potential...
At Ryvanz-Mia Childcare, we have been helping the orphans of Kpando, Ghana since 2006. We give needy children the amenities and education they need in order to thrive. Ryvanz-Mia Childcare teaches children how to be responsible adults, and empowers them to become a vital member of the community regardless of their background.
Ryvanz-Mia Childcare doesn't limit itself to the orphans directly in their care, but actively reaches out to the community around them. Their care and dedication has given hundreds of orphaned children a new chance at life. Our goal is to continue helping children find their way in life, so no child ever goes unloved.
Orphan/Foster Care Project
Taking care of orphaned children is the primary goal of Ryvanz-Mia. Through our program, we give children a second chance at life, and give them a safe place to learn about the world.
We are always in need of teachers to help educate our children. This includes teaching in our basic schools in order to help orphan children attend, or teaching in our special school. If you have experience in teaching, we would love to have you as a volunteer.
Under your help, support and sponsorship, every child in the orphanage will be given the chance to enjoy the new books in the library that can provide them wonderful and great opportunities, matching-up with the privilege children around them.
We give orphans who would otherwise have nowhere to go a second chance at life. Our mission is to provide these children with everything they need to become a vital member of the community.
WHAT OUR VOLUNTEERS SAY
Looking back on this days spent at the orphanage, I just can see thanks giving.
I am speechless, and for the best reason. You were all so welcoming, since this is the very first moment I spent
here.I have been able to meet the kids at the special school, to teach a class at the school and to spend one as the
most memorable moment at my age at the waterfall, surrounded by such special people. But, most of all, I have been able to share my days with the children at the orphanage. You guys (and girls!) are a team. And not just a team, but the best one I have seen in life.May you always be so, and may you always be there for each other (Except when playing football: then the gives team has no friends (hahahahaha).
To Mama Esi, you are the most brave, strong, caring woman I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The children have the best role model to look up to.Thanks for what you do, and may you use the money I have send you (if I can!) to cook for them. When I came here I thought 10 days were not enough to change anyone's
Peace and Love,
