Volunteers are able to work at our hospitals. It is a short taxi ride from the orphanage. Volunteers of any background are always welcome; you don’t need to be a nursing or medical student, however, nursing and med students are highly encouraged to participate. At the hospital you can socialize with the patients, offer emotional support to them, observe minor surgeries (optional), provide first aid material to nurses and doctors, and volunteer in administration.
Please note that if you wish to volunteer with any other hospital, you must get the following vaccinations: Diphtheria, Hepatitis A and B, Meningococcal Meningitis, flu, and carry a travelers first aid kit with you.
Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in these programs by visiting communities (with the help of our coordinators) to further educate those in our local comunities as well as discussing and developing ways of assisting the foundation outside of outreach projects: fundraising, material donations, etc. Always contact us.
